Travel Inpatient Pharmacy Technician | Hillsboro, Wisconsin

This role offers an opportunity to contribute your inpatient pharmacy technician skills within a hospital setting, supporting critical medication processes and sterile compounding.

Location: Hillsboro, WI
Job Type: Travel 13-week contract starting August 2026
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (8 or 10-hour shifts)
• Every 4th weekend, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Restock Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets and check for outdated medications
• Restock medications, IVs, and supplies essential for inpatient care
• Enter charges accurately and manage medication inventory
• Order and receive drug shipments, ensuring proper storage and handling
• Monitor storage temperatures to maintain medication integrity
• Prepare sterile products, including chemotherapy preparation in the cleanroom
• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the cleanroom environment
• Support other departmental duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin pharmacy technician license
• Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency in sterile compounding techniques, including chemotherapy preparations
• Experience working with Pyxis automation systems is required
