LTC Mail Order Pharmacy Technician - Horsham, Pennsylvania

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician skilled in long-term care (LTC) and mail order prescription environments. This contract-to-hire position offers day shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotating weekend hours, located in Horsham, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications.
• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to input prescription data and support reimbursement processes.
• Operate under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to prepackage medication in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist the Pharmacist in the final checking of prescriptions, including verifying medications and packaging for delivery.
• Support Pharmacy Management with inventory control, including receiving shipments, rotating stock, posting lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventories.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a long-term care setting.
• Familiarity with mail order pharmacy operations is highly beneficial.
• Possession of a Pennsylvania pharmacy technician license is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under supervision.
• Commitment to maintaining compliance with government regulations and pharmacy standards.
