Retail Pharmacy Technician in Indian, AK

This opportunity offers the chance to work as a Pharmacy Technician in a behavioral health environment, supporting medication management and pharmacy operations. Responsibilities:

• Manage pharmacy inventory accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate medication deliveries using Omnicell automation systems
• Triage phone calls and provide timely information to staff
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate record keeping
• Collaborate with the clinical team including pharmacists and prescribers
• Utilize HCS Web EMR system for order entry (experience helpful but not required)

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Alaska
• Experience working in acute care or behavioral health pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
• Ability to learn and navigate pharmacy automation and electronic medical records

Schedule & Location:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Contract length: 8 to 12 weeks
• Location: Indian, Alaska

This role will support one pharmacist and a dispensing pharmacy team. Experience with Omnicell or HCS Web EMR is a plus but not mandatory, as training is provided.
