IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician in Jupiter, FL

Play a vital role in a high-volume, expanding sterile compounding pharmacy located in Jupiter, FL, supporting medication preparation with precision and compliance. This contract opportunity features day shifts and focuses on maintaining cleanroom standards consistent with USP <797> and USP <800> guidelines.

Positions Available:

• 2 IV Pharmacy Technicians
• 1 Lead IV Room Pharmacy Technician

Location: Jupiter, FL (West Palm area)
Schedule: Day shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere strictly to USP <797> and USP <800> procedures to ensure sterile compounding compliance
• Clean and sanitize ISO-classified cleanroom areas
• Assist with environmental monitoring and maintain accurate temperature logs
• Manage inventory control including expiration date tracking
• Receive and organize medication and supplies, preparing materials for production runs
• Support operational workflow and foster effective team communication
• Provide assistance to pharmacists and lead technicians as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacy Technician registration/license in accordance with state requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience
• Strong preference for candidates with sterile compounding experience
• Thorough knowledge of aseptic techniques and proper cleanroom behavior
• Demonstrated reliability and exceptional attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in hospital, infusion, or compounding pharmacy environments
• Familiarity with batch records and workflow management systems
