Retail Pharmacy Technician in Kalamazoo, MI

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Pharmacy Technician with retail pharmacy experience who is looking to transition from a temporary role to a direct hire position. The role is based in Kalamazoo, MI, within a retail pharmacy environment using the Pioneer RX computer system.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• 8.5-hour shifts with rotating start times: 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:30 AM
• Closed Fridays at 6 PM
• No weekend shifts initially; however, weekend availability may be required in the future

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process prescription orders and assist pharmacists in dispensing medication
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and resolving concerns
• Maintain organized and compliant pharmacy records and inventory management
• Utilize Pioneer RX software for prescription processing and data entry
• Follow all regulatory guidelines and maintain a safe, clean work environment

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid Michigan pharmacy technician license
• Experience working as a pharmacy technician in a retail setting
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX computer system is a strong plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
