Pharmacy Technician (Retail) Days | Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a busy retail pharmacy team. This is a temp-to-direct hire opportunity with daytime hours and a flexible, rotating schedule. Ideal candidates will have strong retail pharmacy experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• Monday Friday
• 8.5-hour shifts
• Rotating start times: 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM
• Shifts may run as late as 8:00 PM
• Pharmacy closes at 6:00 PM on Fridays
• No weekends initially (may change in the future)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
• Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service to patients
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards
• Support inventory management and medication stocking

Required Qualifications

• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience
• Retail pharmacy experience required
• Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician License
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Pioneer RX system
