Pharmacy Technician | Kennett Square, Pennsylvania

A Specialty Compounding Pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Labeling Specialist for a 13-week contract to hire assignment. This role focuses on ensuring accuracy and compliance in prescription labeling within a regulated pharmaceutical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, print, and apply prescription, auxiliary, shipping, and batch identification labels.
• Verify label information against production documentation prior to application.
• Ensure all regulatory information is accurately reflected on product labels.
• Inspect labels for accuracy, legibility, alignment, completeness, and placement.
• Prepare prescriptions for final pharmacist verification.
• Assemble packaging materials and apply tamper-evident seals as required.
• Package finished products per internal procedures to maintain integrity during shipment.
• Report labeling discrepancies, errors, or quality concerns immediately.
• Assist with label reconciliation and remove damaged or incorrect labels.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant labeling workstation.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory, packaging, or production settings preferred.
• Experience with labeling, packaging, quality documentation, or inventory processes advantageous.
• Familiarity with compounding pharmacy operations and regulated production environments is a plus.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
