Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician- PA

Ph on the Go is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week Contract-to-Hire opportunity with a specialty compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA.

7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Day shift

Responsibilities:

Follow USP <795>, <797>, and <800> guidelines for non-sterile and sterile compounding
Read and accurately interpret prescriptions and enter orders into the pharmacy system
Prepare and compound medications under pharmacist supervision
Prepare formula log sheets and maintain accurate compliance documentation
Measure, mix, package, and label compounded medications accurately
Assist with batch compounding, product labeling, and verification of log entries
Maintain inventory of ingredients, equipment, and PPE
Ensure timely preparation and fulfillment of compounded prescriptions for shipping or patient pickup
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all compounded products and work performed

Requirements:

Active and clear Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician License
Minimum 1 year of recent pharmacy technician experience
Recent sterile compounding experience is required
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Must be able to commute to Kennett Square, PA within approximately 1 hour
