Setting: Specialty Compounding Pharmacy

We are seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a day-shift opportunity with a specialty compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square.

Important: The client requires candidates to live within approximately 1 hour of the facility. Please make sure the candidate's commute is mapped before submitting.

Responsibilities:

Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding under pharmacist supervision
Follow USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards and established pharmacy procedures
Accurately interpret prescriptions and enter orders into the pharmacy system
Measure, mix, package, and label compounded medications
Assist with batch compounding and maintain accurate compounding records
Complete formula logs and other required documentation
Maintain inventory of ingredients, equipment, and PPE
Ensure compounded prescriptions are prepared accurately and on time for shipping or pickup

Requirements:

Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license REQUIRED
Minimum 1 year of recent pharmacy technician experience
Sterile compounding experience REQUIRED
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a structured, high-volume environment
Reliable attendance is extremely important to the client

Term: 13 weeks with potential for contract-to-hire
