Retail Pharmacy Technician | Knox, Indiana

A reputable outpatient hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support their retail pharmacy operations during a contract period of 8 to 13 weeks. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting while ensuring patients receive timely and accurate pharmaceutical services.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter orders using Pioneer RX system (experience preferred)
• Assist customers at the register by ringing up prescriptions and over-the-counter medications
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while providing excellent customer service
• Support daily pharmacy operations to ensure smooth workflow
• Work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with every other Saturday on a rotating schedule

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license is required
• Previous pharmacy technician experience, especially in retail or outpatient hospital settings
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX software is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong communication and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple tasks efficiently
