Retail Pharmacy Technician | Knox, Indiana

A well-established outpatient hospital pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations on a contract basis of 8 to 13 weeks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your pharmacy expertise in a fast-paced outpatient environment, working primarily during daytime hours.

Location: Knox, Indiana
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Every third Saturday rotation, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter medication orders using Pioneer RX software (experience preferred)
• Assist customers by ringing up prescriptions and providing excellent service
• Support pharmacists and healthcare team to ensure smooth outpatient pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician License required
• Previous pharmacy technician experience is mandatory
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX order entry system is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a dynamic retail setting
