Travel Inpatient Pharmacy Technician in La Farge, WI

A 13-week travel opportunity is available for an Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Technician position starting in August 2026, located in La Farge, WI. This role involves working primarily in an inpatient hospital environment using Pyxis automation systems, with shifts scheduled Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM, including every fourth weekend from 7 AM to 3 PM. Shift lengths may vary between 8 and 10 hours.

Responsibilities:

• Restocking Pyxis units and checking for outdated medications
• Restocking medications, IVs, and supplies
• Entering charges accurately into the system
• Ordering, receiving, and verifying drug shipments
• Monitoring and documenting storage temperatures
• Preparing sterile products and maintaining sterile compounding standards
• Conducting daily cleanroom cleaning and preparing chemotherapeutic agents
• Performing additional duties as assigned in support of pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Current pharmacy license in Wisconsin
• Experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting
• Proficiency with sterile compounding techniques
• Familiarity with Pyxis automation systems
