Hospital Pharmacy Technician - La Push, Washington

Seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide essential support at a 25-bed critical access hospital in Western Washington. This contract opportunity involves working both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy areas, offering a well-rounded experience in a hospital setting. The role is immediately available with a 13-week duration, supporting pharmacy operations in a community-focused environment.

Location:

• Position based in Forks, WA

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with dispensing medications for both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services
• Support pharmacy team in managing medication inventory and preparation
• Perform retail pharmacy duties including prescription processing and customer interaction
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with hospital pharmacy protocols and regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid Washington State Pharmacy Technician license required (note lengthy licensing process)
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of inpatient and outpatient pharmacy procedures
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
