Long Term Care Mail Order Pharmacy Technician in Lansdale, PA

This position offers experience working in a long-term care mail order pharmacy setting, with direct supervision by a Registered Pharmacist. The role is a contract-to-hire opportunity based in Lansdale, PA, providing an excellent pathway to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions and prepare intravenous (IV) medications.
• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter prescription data into the computer system for processing and reimbursement.
• Assist in prepackaging medications for dispensing according to regulatory standards.
• Support the Pharmacist with the final checking and packaging of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy before delivery.
• Help maintain inventory control by receiving medications, rotating stock, tracking lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventory counts.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Rotating weekends

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous pharmacy technician experience required
• Long-term care (LTC) pharmacy experience highly preferred
• Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license is a plus but not mandatory
