Mail Order LTC Pharmacy Technician - Lansdale, Pennsylvania

A pharmacy technician role is available in a Long Term Care and mail order pharmacy setting. This position offers a 6-week contract-to-hire opportunity with standard weekday day shifts and rotating weekends.

Location: Lansdale, PA
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions and prepare intravenous (IV) medications accurately.
• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data for prescription processing and reimbursement.
• Operate under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to prepackage medications for dispensing in compliance with standards and government regulations.
• Assist in the pharmacists final review of filled prescriptions, including labeling, packaging, and coordinating timely delivery to customers.
• Support pharmacy management in inventory control such as receiving shipments, rotating stock, posting lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventory counts.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy preferred but not mandatory.
• Pennsylvania pharmacy technician license is a plus but not required.
