Mail Order LTC Pharmacy Technician | Levittown, Pennsylvania

A contract-to-hire opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician skilled in long-term care (LTC) and mail order prescription processing. This role focuses on supporting accurate and efficient prescription fulfillment in a specialized pharmacy environment.

Location: Levittown, PA
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Rotating weekends required
  Contract duration: 6 weeks, with potential for permanent placement

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions and prepare intravenous (IV) medications under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data accurately into the system to manage prescription fulfillment and reimbursement processes
• Assist the Pharmacist with final prescription checks, including medication verification and post-review packaging
• Support pharmacy inventory management, including receiving shipments, rotating stock, documenting lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventory counts

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required
• Experience in long-term care pharmacy settings is a strong plus
• Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work reliably in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
