Travel Inpatient Pharmacy Technician in Lone Rock, WI

This position offers an opportunity to work as an Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Technician in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The role involves supporting medication management and sterile compounding within an inpatient hospital environment, utilizing Pyxis automation systems.

Location:

• Lone Rock, WI

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• 8 or 10-hour shifts
• Every 4th weekend 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Restocking Pyxis systems and managing medication inventories, including checking for outdated products
• Ordering and receiving drug shipments
• Entering charges accurately into the system
• Monitoring medication and storage temperatures to ensure safety and compliance
• Preparing sterile products including intravenous (IV) medications and chemotherapy agents
• Performing daily cleaning and maintenance of the cleanroom environment
• Assisting with other pharmacy duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings
• Proficiency with sterile compounding processes
• Familiarity with Pyxis automated medication dispensing systems
• Valid Wisconsin pharmacy technician license

This is a travel position with a 13-week contract starting August 2026. Candidates with a dedicated work ethic and strong pharmacy technician skills are encouraged to apply. Experience in sterile compounding and Pyxis system use is essential to succeed in this role.
