IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician - Long Beach, CA

A rapidly expanding closed-door pharmacy specializing in Home Infusion services is seeking experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technicians to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This opportunity involves a 13-week assignment with the potential to become permanent, ideal for candidates looking to leverage strong sterile compounding skills and grow alongside a pharmacy that values quality and continuous development.

Location: Long Beach, CA
Schedule:

• Full Time, MondayFriday
• 8-hour shifts between 5:00 AM and 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile IV compounding within a cleanroom environment
• Compound total parenteral nutrition (TPNs), antibiotics, antifungals, and other sterile preparations
• Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and USP standards
• Accurately prepare, label, and handle compounded medications
• Maintain high standards for quality and safety while working efficiently

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• 35 years of solid experience in sterile compounding
• Proficiency in compounding TPNs, antibiotics, antifungals, and application of aseptic techniques
• Strong knowledge of USP standards related to sterile compounding
• California Pharmacy Technician license (required)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing pharmacy environment
