An established home infusion and compounding pharmacy in Long Beach, CA is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with expertise in sterile compounding. This direct hire opportunity offers a dynamic role supporting patient care through precise preparation of sterile products and active communication with patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile infusion medications following proprietary workflow protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients and providers to ensure accuracy and safety of therapy.
• Manage medication preparation schedules, including rotating weekend shifts.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare teams to support patient-specific treatment plans.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and quality standards.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Experience in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy settings; inpatient-only experience will not be considered.
• Strong communication skills to engage with patients and providers; retail compounding background is a plus.
• National Certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday with staggered start times between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., plus rotating weekends.
• Ability to commute to a busy, high-traffic area in Long Beach candidates should carefully consider travel logistics.

Schedule:

• Hours of operation: 7 days/week, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Typical schedule: Monday through Friday with rotating weekends; start times vary.
