Long Term Care Mail Order Pharmacy Technician - Loves Park, IL

Support the efficient operation of a pharmacy environment specializing in long-term care and mail order services. This role focuses on filling prescriptions accurately and maintaining a smooth workflow during daytime hours.

Location: Loves Park, IL
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Rotating Saturdays, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  Position Type: Contract to Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions accurately under supervision in a long-term care and mail order pharmacy setting
• Assist with managing inventory and preparing medications for delivery
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements
• Support the pharmacy team to ensure timely and effective distribution of medications

Qualifications and Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician experience required
• Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician License mandatory
• Familiarity with long-term care and mail order pharmacy operations preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
