Inpatient Pharmacy Technician - Madison, WI

A healthcare facility in Madison, WI is seeking three Pharmacy Technicians to support their inpatient and IV pharmacy operations on a 26-week contract starting November 26. This role is ideal for technicians with recent hands-on experience in sterile compounding and inpatient pharmacy settings.

Schedule Options:

• Two Overnight shifts: 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, working four 10-hour shifts with weekend rotation
• One Day shift: 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM, working five 8-hour shifts with weekend rotation

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile intravenous medications following hospital protocols
• Support the inpatient pharmacy by accurately dispensing medications
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards in medication preparation
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to ensure timely medication delivery

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in inpatient pharmacy, including sterile IV compounding
• Current and valid Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to sterile compounding procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
