Inpatient Pharmacy Technician in Mauston, WI

This opportunity offers a rewarding role for a Pharmacy Technician in an inpatient hospital setting, supporting critical pharmacy operations in Richland Center, WI. The position is a 13-week contract with a schedule designed to provide both structure and balance, featuring Monday through Friday shifts and rotating weekend coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Restock and manage medications and supplies using Pyxis automation system
• Conduct regular outdate checks and temperature monitoring to ensure medication safety
• Prepare sterile products, including chemotherapy compounds, adhering to strict cleanroom protocols
• Receive and enter charges for drug shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records
• Perform routine cleanroom cleaning and support various pharmacy tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proven experience in inpatient pharmacy environments
• Skilled in sterile compounding practices with a strong attention to detail
• Familiarity and experience working with Pyxis automation systems
• Valid Wisconsin pharmacy technician license, meeting all regulatory requirements

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (offering 8 or 10-hour shifts)
• Every 4th weekend, Saturday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
