Pharmacy Technician in Media, PA

A specialty compounding pharmacy is seeking a Laboratory Labeling Specialist for a 13-week contract-to-hire assignment in Kennett Square, PA. This role focuses on accurate preparation, verification, and application of various labels on prescription and batch products to maintain regulatory compliance and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, print, and apply prescription, auxiliary, shipping, and batch identification labels.
• Verify label information aligns with production documentation before application.
• Ensure all labels contain required regulatory details accurately.
• Inspect labels for accuracy, legibility, alignment, completeness, and proper placement.
• Prepare prescriptions for final pharmacist verification.
• Assemble packaging materials per company standards, applying tamper-evident seals as necessary.
• Package finished products to maintain integrity during shipment.
• Report any labeling discrepancies, documentation errors, or quality concerns promptly.
• Assist in label reconciliation and remove damaged or incorrect labels.
• Maintain an organized, clean, safe, and compliant labeling workstation.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory, packaging, or production settings preferred.
• Familiarity with labeling, packaging, quality documentation, or inventory processes is a strong plus.
• Experience or knowledge of compounding pharmacy operations and regulated production environments is beneficial.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
