A behavioral health clinic in Plano, TX, near Hwy 75 and Legacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a temp-to-perm opportunity. This role requires precision and efficiency in a fast-paced environment, supporting pharmacy operations Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with a one-hour lunch break.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accurately dispensing and filling prescriptions
  • Performing data entry tasks
  • Managing patient phone inquiries with professionalism
  • Overseeing inventory control
  • Assisting with prior authorization processes
  • Delivering excellent customer service within a clinic setting

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy (such as Walmart, CVS, Walgreens)
  • Clear and active Texas Pharmacy Technician license
  • National certification from PTCB or NHA
  • Strong empathy and understanding of the behavioral health population
  • Spanish language skills are a significant advantage
