Long Term Care Mail Order Pharmacy Technician in Milford, MA
This role offers the opportunity to work as a Pharmacy Technician specializing in long-term care and mail order environments. The position follows an overnight schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off, with shift hours from 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM, covering Wednesdays through Thursdays. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity lasting approximately 13 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately for long-term care and mail order patients
- Manage prescription processing and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare teams to support patient care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for each prescription
- Assist with inventory management and order fulfillment during overnight shifts
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license in Massachusetts is required
- Experience working as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in long-term care and mail order settings
- National certification from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work overnight shifts consistently
