Inpatient Pharmacy Technician - Morristown, New Jersey

Two overnight inpatient pharmacy technicians are needed for a 13-week contract assignment starting August 24th. The schedule is 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off (Thursday through Wednesday).

This role supports inpatient pharmacy operations by accurately filling, preparing, and distributing medication orders. Key responsibilities include:

• Filling and preparing medication orders promptly for pharmacist verification
• Replenishing medication carts, trays, and inventory, including sterile IV preparations
• Managing automated dispensing machines with accuracy and performing inventory control
• Handling medication returns and performing medication repackaging as needed
• Collaborating as a team player to meet departmental goals and support hospital initiatives
• Providing courteous, professional service at all points of contact
• Maintaining proper documentation and compliance with sterile technique and safety protocols

Candidates should have a minimum of two years recent inpatient pharmacy technician experience. A current NJ Pharmacy Technician license is required; PTCB certification is preferred but not mandatory.
