Travel Inpatient Pharmacy Technician in Muscoda, WI
A healthcare facility in Muscoda, WI is seeking a skilled Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week travel assignment beginning August 2026. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in an inpatient hospital environment using Pyxis automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restock Pyxis units and perform outdate checking of medications and supplies
- Prepare and restock IVs and other sterile products, including chemotherapy
- Enter charges accurately and manage drug shipment ordering and receiving
- Monitor medication storage temperatures to ensure compliance
- Maintain cleanliness within the cleanroom as part of daily sterile compounding protocols
- Perform additional pharmacy technician duties as assigned
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Shift options of 8 or 10 hours to accommodate workflow
- Every 4th weekend shift from 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Proven inpatient pharmacy technician experience
- Proficiency in sterile compounding and preparation of sterile products
- Familiarity with Pyxis automated medication dispensing systems
- Valid Wisconsin pharmacy technician license
