Join an established closed-door long-term care (LTC) pharmacy team as a Production Pharmacy Technician. This direct-hire opportunity is based in Bardonia, New York, offering a consistent day shift schedule with valuable responsibilities in medication preparation and inventory management. Location: Bardonia, NY
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare medications in appropriate packaging, including blister packs and unit-dose formats, to ensure timely delivery to LTC residents
- Support medication ordering, receiving, and stocking, while monitoring storage conditions and expiration dates
- Maintain accurate patient and medication records to support safety and compliance
- Utilize Frameworks software system (training provided) for effective pharmacy operations
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
- NY State Pharmacy Technician License preferred but not required
- PTCB certification preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
