Pharmacy Technician - Nanuet, New York

Step into a vital role as a Day Shift Production Pharmacy Technician at a closed-door Long-Term Care (LTC) facility in Bardonia, New York. Location: Bardonia, NY
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose to ensure timely delivery to residents
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while ensuring proper storage and close monitoring of expiration dates
• Maintain accurate patient and medication records with close attention to detail
• Utilize pharmacy software (Frameworks) with training provided to streamline daily operations

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
• NY State Pharmacy Technician License is preferred but not required
• PTCB certification is preferred but not required
• Ability to work responsibly in a fast-paced environment managing approximately 600 prescriptions daily

Compensation:

• Starting pay of $18/hour for non-certified technicians
• $19-$20/hour for certified technicians
