Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician in Naperville, IL

A full-time Pharmacy Technician role focused on Home Infusion offers an excellent opportunity to apply specialized skills in a dynamic pharmacy setting. This position is based in Orland Park, IL, with standard Monday through Friday hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a stable weekday schedule with no weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile intravenous (IV) medications in accordance with USP standards and aseptic techniques.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of home infusion therapies, including IVIG.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and state regulations.
• Support pharmacy team members by managing inventory and ensuring accurate prescription processing.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license.
• Proven experience in home infusion or infusion pharmacy settings.
• Proficient in sterile IV compounding.
• Strong knowledge of USP guidelines and aseptic techniques.
• IVIG preparation experience strongly preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credentials are highly desirable.
