Pharmacy Technician | New Rochelle, New York

A direct hire opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician specializing in production within a closed-door Long-Term Care (LTC) facility in Bardonia, New York. This role offers a day shift schedule with occasional weekend rotations and the chance to contribute to efficient medication management for residents.

Location: Bardonia, New York
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose formats, ensuring timely delivery to residents.
• Assist in ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while monitoring proper storage conditions and expiration dates.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and medication documentation.
• Adapt to using Frameworks software system, with training provided as needed.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 years experience as a pharmacy technician.
• New York State Pharmacy Technician license is preferred but not mandatory.
• PTCB certification is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in long-term care or production pharmacy settings is a plus.
