Retail Pharmacy Technician - Newark, NJ

A Retail Pharmacy Technician position is available in West Caldwell, NJ, offering the opportunity to work with the Rx30 pharmacy system. This contract-to-hire role is suited for candidates skilled in retail pharmacy environments who are looking for either full-time or part-time work.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacy staff with general retail pharmacy duties
• Manage prescription processing and customer service efficiently
• Operate the Rx30 system to ensure accurate dispensing and record-keeping
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment following pharmacy protocols
• Support inventory management and restocking as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in retail settings
• Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with customers professionally
• Knowledge of Rx30 pharmacy system is preferred or willingness to learn

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday: 9:00 AM 8:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed
• Preference for full-time; part-time candidates may be considered
