Outpatient Pharmacy Technician | Norristown, Pennsylvania

A full-time Pharmacy Technician role is available in a high-volume retail setting in Lancaster, PA. This position requires experience supporting hospital outpatient and pharmacy technician duties, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• First shift: 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. (8.5 hours)
• No weekends or on-call responsibilities

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital outpatient settings
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required
• Compliance with Pennsylvanias Pharmacy Technician registration effective from June 28
• Strong knowledge of prescription processing and dispensing protocols
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions and prepare medications for patient distribution
• Assist pharmacists by managing inventory, verifying prescription details, and handling customer inquiries
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Maintain records and documentation supporting safe and secure pharmacy operations
