Outpatient Pharmacy Technician in Norristown, PA

An opportunity is available for a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support a hospital outpatient pharmacy in Philadelphia, PA, on a 13+ week temp-to-hire assignment. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with retail pharmacy experience, capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment.

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: MondayFriday, 9:30 AM6:00 PM
Assignment Duration: 13+ Week Contract

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations to ensure smooth workflow
• Accurately process and fill prescriptions in a timely manner
• Enter and update patient and prescription data with precision
• Support prescription fulfillment, medication preparation, and inventory management
• Deliver professional, courteous customer and patient service
• Adhere to pharmacy policies, procedures, and compliance standards

Qualifications:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT/PTCB) certification preferred
• Proven retail pharmacy experience is required
• Previous experience in hospital or outpatient pharmacy settings is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented approach
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Local candidates within the Philadelphia area only
• Commitment to a 13+ week assignment
