Pharmacy Technician Outpatient Hospital Setting (Contract, 8-13 Weeks)

An outpatient hospital is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a contract assignment in North Judson, IN. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations in a fast-paced outpatient environment and requires both strong technical capabilities and excellent customer service skills.

Schedule and Location:

• Location: North Judson, IN
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Every other Saturday rotation required

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter medication orders using Pioneer RX system (experience preferred)
• Process prescription transactions and ring up customers with professionalism and efficiency
• Support daily pharmacy operations to ensure timely and safe medication dispensing
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician License is required
• Previous pharmacy technician experience in a retail or outpatient hospital setting
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX system is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
