Retail Pharmacy Technician in North Judson, IN
An outpatient hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support their retail pharmacy operations on a contract basis for 8 to 13 weeks. This position offers a focused role in a dynamic outpatient setting, ideal for a technician with strong pharmacy experience and familiarity with outpatient workflows.
Location: North Judson, IN
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Every third Saturday rotation, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter prescription orders into the system
- Assist customers at the register by ringing up purchases and providing friendly service
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure timely and accurate medication dispensing
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Indiana Pharmacy Technician License required
- Previous pharmacy technician experience in a retail or outpatient setting
- Proficiency with Pioneer RX order entry system preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
