Pharmacy Technician in North Las Vegas, NV

This position offers an opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to contribute within a specialized retail pharmacy environment focusing on HIV/AIDS care. The role is based in North Las Vegas, NV, with a contract duration of approximately 4 to 6 weeks, and the potential for extension based on needs.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM 12:30 PM
• Full-time hours

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process low volume prescriptions related to HIV/AIDS specialty medications
• Perform data entry with a high degree of attention to detail
• Assist in filling and dispensing prescriptions safely and efficiently
• Adhere to pharmacy protocols and standards while maintaining a focus on patient care

Desired Experience:

• Must have valid Pharmacy Technician certification
• Prior experience working in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
• Experience with HIV/AIDS dispensing strongly preferred; please confirm if you have this experience when applying
• Familiarity with prescription processing and medication handling procedures
