Long Term Care Pharmacy Technician - Omaha, NE

An opportunity is available for a Long-Term Care Pharmacy Technician to support operations in Omaha, Nebraska. This full-time position offers a Monday through Friday day shift schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing consistent hours and a chance to work within a well-established pharmacy environment. This 12-week contract role has potential for transition to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities include:

• Packing and filling medications accurately for long-term care clients
• Performing data entry tasks with attention to detail
• Communicating effectively with healthcare providers via phone to clarify medication orders and resolve questions

Ideal candidates will meet the following qualifications:

• Valid Nebraska Pharmacy Technician License is required
• Minimum of one year of pharmacy technician experience
• Certification through PTCB is preferred but not mandatory
• Experience in long-term care pharmacy is advantageous but not required
• Availability to begin immediately is essential
