IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician | Owasso, Oklahoma

A pharmacy technician position is available to work in an engaging home infusion environment with a growing healthcare provider in Owasso, OK. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, ideal for those seeking a stable daytime role performing critical pharmacy support duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions and prepare intravenous admixtures and total parenteral nutrition (TPN).
• Support the Billing Supervisor by entering precise prescription data into computer systems for reimbursement purposes.
• Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to prepackage medications following strict standards and government regulations.
• Assist the Pharmacist in the final verification process of prescriptions, including preparing medications for final review and packaging after approval.
• Coordinate timely and accurate delivery of medications to patients.
• Aid Pharmacy Management with inventory management tasks such as receiving shipments, rotating stock, tracking lot numbers and expiration dates, and conducting physical inventories.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in home infusion pharmacy or inpatient hospital settings, demonstrating familiarity with sterile compounding.
• Proficiency in sterile compounding processes and adherence to USP 797 clean room guidelines.
• Valid Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician license.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining medication safety standards.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM.
