IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician | Oxnard, California

This role offers the opportunity to contribute as a Pharmacy Technician in a busy 250-bed inpatient hospital setting, supporting critical pharmaceutical services in a large county medical center. With a focus on sterile and non-sterile compounding, this position is pivotal to ensuring patients receive safe and accurate medications.

Work Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoons
• Every other weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inpatient pharmacy duties including sterile and non-sterile compounding
• Restock and manage Pyxis medication units efficiently
• Field and respond to incoming pharmacy calls, supporting clinical teams and patient needs

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license required
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Previous hands-on IV training or experience with sterile compounding is highly advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
