Long Term Care Pharmacy Technician in Papillion, NE

This full-time Long-Term Care Pharmacy Technician role available in Omaha, NE, offers a great opportunity to apply your pharmacy skills in a fast-paced environment. Working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will play a key role in supporting medication distribution for long-term care facilities while honing your pharmacy expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pack and fill medications for long-term care patients
• Perform detailed data entry to maintain prescription records
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers by phone to ensure proper medication handling and patient safety

Qualifications:

• Valid Nebraska Pharmacy Technician License is required
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
• PTCB certification is preferred but not mandatory
• Previous experience with long-term care pharmacy settings is advantageous
• Ability to begin work as soon as possible
