Retail Pharmacy Technician in Paw Paw, MI

A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations with a flexible day shift schedule. This contract-to-hire position offers a dynamic work environment where no weekends are required initially, allowing for a balanced work-life routine while gaining valuable experience in retail pharmacy services.

Location:

• Paw Paw, MI

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8.5-hour shifts with rotating start times at 7:30 am, 8:00 am, 9:30 am, or 11:30 am
• Pharmacy closes at 6 pm on Fridays
• No weekends to start; weekend shifts may be introduced later

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications to customers
• Assist pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations and customer service
• Maintain pharmacy records and handle prescriptions within regulatory guidelines
• Utilize Pioneer RX computer system for processing prescriptions and inventory management
• Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant retail pharmacy environment

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician license required
• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in retail pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX computer system is a strong plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
