Retail Pharmacy Technician in Paw Paw, MI

This role calls for a skilled Pharmacy Technician with retail and prescription experience to support daily operations in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. Working primarily daytime shifts on a Monday through Friday schedule, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional patient care while managing prescriptions efficiently.

Location:

• Paw Paw, MI

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8.5-hour shifts
• Rotating start times: 7:30am, 8am, 9:30am, and 11:30am
• Pharmacy closes at 6pm on Fridays
• No weekends initially, though weekend hours may be introduced later

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
• Manage prescription processing using the Pioneer RX system
• Assist patients with medication-related inquiries in a retail setting
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient workflow

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan pharmacy technician license
• Previous pharmacy technician experience, especially in retail
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX computer system is a strong plus
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
