Outpatient Pharmacy Technician in Philadelphia, PA

Join a fast-paced outpatient pharmacy team in Philadelphia as a Pharmacy Technician specializing in high-volume retail operations. This full-time opportunity focuses on processing refill prescriptions and supporting pharmacy technicians in delivering exceptional patient care.

Location:

• 3250 S 76th Street, Ste 400, Philadelphia, PA 19153

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 1st Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8.5 hours per shift)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process refill prescriptions in a high-volume outpatient pharmacy environment
• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing
• Maintain patient profiles and ensure prescription data integrity
• Support inventory management and medication stock levels
• Adhere to all pharmacy policies, regulatory guidelines, and safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to optimize workflow and customer satisfaction

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years pharmacy technician experience in a high-volume outpatient or retail setting
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT/PTCB) highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of prescription processing and pharmacy operations
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Local candidates only due to the nature of the position
