Outpatient Pharmacy Technician - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

An established hospital outpatient pharmacy in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for a 13+ week assignment. This role offers the opportunity to apply strong retail pharmacy skills in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical setting, supporting pharmacists in daily operations and ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment.

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  Assignment Duration: 13+ weeks
  Candidate Type: Local candidates only

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with daily pharmacy tasks and workflow
• Accurately process and fill prescriptions following established protocols
• Enter and update patient and medication information in the system
• Support inventory management and medication preparation processes
• Deliver professional and empathetic customer and patient service
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT/PTCB) certification preferred
• Proven retail pharmacy experience required
• Previous hospital or outpatient pharmacy exposure is a strong advantage
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to high-quality customer service
• Availability to work scheduled hours and complete a 13+ week assignment
• Must be located within the Philadelphia area and able to commute
