Inpatient Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician in Philadelphia, PA

An outpatient infusion pharmacy in Philadelphia is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician with expertise in both retail and infusion pharmacy settings. This role focuses on preparing IV admixtures for patients receiving complex therapies such as cancer treatments, multiple sclerosis, infectious diseases, and dermatologic conditions. The position offers stable weekdays shifts within a pharmacy operating between 6:30 am and 7 pm, with 8- or 12-hour shifts tailored to operational requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare IV admixtures and infusion therapies with precision and adherence to safety protocols
• Support the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing complex treatment regimens
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy and healthcare regulations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to medication preparation and dispensing
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential or PTCB certification is required
• Experience in retail pharmacy is mandatory
• Proven experience working in infusion pharmacy environments
• Familiarity with IV admixture preparation is preferred
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work Monday through Friday
• Must be a local candidate able to work onsite in Philadelphia

Schedule:
