IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician | Pittsford, New York

A specialized role is available for a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join a regulated pharmacy environment focused on precise medication preparation and patient safety. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, based in Pittsford, NY, on a contract-to-hire basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile medications adhering to strict regulatory standards.
• Fulfill medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage inventory control and supply replenishment.
• Maintain meticulous documentation to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
• Collaborate closely with pharmacists and clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance guidelines rigorously.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Pharmacy Technician registration/licensure in good standing is required.
• Proven experience in sterile compounding within a regulated pharmacy.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on documentation accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, patient-focused setting.
• Experience in inventory management and quality assurance processes. Preferred credentials include:
• PTCB Certification.
• Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training or certification program.
• Background in home infusion, specialty pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or IV pharmacy.
• Experience with sterile admixture preparation and pharmacy compliance standards.
