Mail Order LTC Pharmacy Technician | Pittston, Pennsylvania

A 12-week contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician skilled in Long Term Care and Mail Order pharmacy settings. This role supports pharmacy operations in filling prescriptions, preparing IVs, and ensuring accurate medication delivery within a regulated environment.

Location: Pittston, PA
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Rotating weekends, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter prescription data into the computer system to facilitate reimbursements.
• Assist Pharmacists with the final accuracy checks, including medication presentation for review and post-review packaging.
• Support pharmacy management with inventory control, including receiving, rotating stock, and maintaining lot number and expiration date records.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring equipment is properly calibrated and operational.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician required.
• Prior experience in Long Term Care and Mail Order pharmacy settings is a strong plus.
• Must hold a valid Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician License.
