Retail Pharmacy Technician | Plainwell, Michigan

This position offers an opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to work within a retail pharmacy environment featuring a dynamic schedule and the potential for direct hire. The role requires strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and the ability to provide excellent support to the pharmacy team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Assist pharmacists with daily pharmacy activities and customer service in a retail setting
• Manage inventory and maintain proper documentation in compliance with regulations
• Utilize the Pioneer RX computer system for processing prescriptions and maintaining records
• Support workflow across a rotating day shift schedule to ensure smooth pharmacy operations

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8.5-hour shifts
• Rotating start times: 7:30 am, 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:30 am
• Closed Fridays at 6 pm
• No weekends initially, with potential changes in the future

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan pharmacy technician license is required
• Previous pharmacy technician experience in a retail setting
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX computer system is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
