Pharmacy Technician | Plano, Texas

Join a behavioral health clinic located in Plano, TX, as a Pharmacy Technician in a temp-to-perm role. This position offers the opportunity to work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with a one-hour lunch break, providing consistent weekday hours near Hwy 75 and Legacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense and fill prescriptions with efficiency and attention to detail
• Perform data entry tasks related to pharmacy operations
• Manage inventory to ensure adequate stock levels
• Answer patient phone calls promptly and professionally
• Provide prior authorization support to streamline medication access
• Deliver excellent customer service within the clinic setting

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment (e.g., Walmart, CVS, Walgreens)
• Active and clear Texas Pharmacy Technician license
• National certification (PTCB or NHA) required
• Demonstrated empathy when working with behavioral health populations
• Spanish language skills are highly desirable and considered a strong asset
